CPT Entertainment Inc. Client: CPT Entertainment Inc. Project: iPhone application “Hand Evaluator” Need: The client wanted poker enthusiasts to have a tool that could help train them to become better Texas Hold’em competitors. Solution: Saltmine Software created a Texas Hold’em Hand Evaluator application that would allow a user to conveniently input the public cards and the user’s pocket cards and subsequently display the chances the user had at winning the hand. The Hand Evaluator iphone application was developed using a client-server architecture so that each time the server was queried it presented an opportunity to advertise a current promotion to the Hand Evaluator interface as well as the statistical edge.
